MAPLE PLACE - TOPPING OUT

Hard to beat the view from level 37 this week. We marked a major milestone on our Surrey project with a big site celebration – our final concrete pour is officially complete. It’s been an incredible journey so far:

• Rezoning submission – June 2024
• Excavation start – November 2024
• Slab-on-grade – April 2025
• Final structural pour – April 2026

From concept to skyline, this project has kept the team moving at full speed every step of the way. Huge thanks to everyone involved – consultants, trades, city staff, and the WALL team – for the dedication and hard work that got us here.

With approximately eight months until occupancy (projected for late 2026), the focus shifts from finishing the exterior envelope to the interior systems and aesthetics. Excited to see this project bring new life to the Surrey – Guildford community.

WALL AMBLESIDE - PLANNING COMMITTEE PRESENTATION

We are excited to announce that our project at 1552 Esquimalt Avenue received unanimous support from the Planning Committee of West Vancouver on March 11, 2026.

Committee members noted the thoughtful integration of the proposed infill tower into the urban fabric, the clear and strong design language complementing the existing building stock, and the creation of an inviting and diverse outdoor amenity space in the perfect location to welcome residents and neighbours alike. We are looking forward to discuss the proposal further at our upcoming Open House on April 16, 2026 at 6:00pm in the Cedar Room of the West Vancouver Community Centre.

WALL AMBLESIDE - INFILL TOWER

This is a combined rezoning/development permit submission for the 1552 Esquimalt Avenue Infill Project in West Vancouver, British Columbia. This application proposes the development of an 19-storey infill residential tower that will deliver 126 new homes within a subdivided standlone lot.

The proposal responds to the District of West Vancouver’s housing objectives by expanding the supply of housing in a well-connected, amenity-rich location, while introducing a slender, contextually sensitive tower form that complements the existing built environment.

MAPLE PLACE - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Construction at Maple Place Tower One continues to advance steadily and remains on schedule. Structural milestones are being met with precision; the concrete slab pouring has now reached Level 21, marking a significant climb in the building's vertical profile.

Parallel to the structural work, the building envelope is taking shape, with exterior window wall installations now completed from Levels 4 through 7. This multi-track progress ensures that the project remains firmly on track for its projected completion in late 2026.
