MAPLE PLACE TOWERS - PHASE 2-5

LOCATION Guildford, Surrey
CLIENT Wall Financial
YEAR 2025
PHASE Rezoning Application
SIZE 1,354,289 SF (GFA)
HEIGHT Four Towers 40 - 53 Storeys
UNIT NUMBER 1,544

The Maple Place Towers Phases 2–5 proposal represents a transformative opportunity to deliver a much-needed variety of housing, family-oriented amenities, and high-quality public realm improvements in the heart of Guildford. By combining slender tower forms with generous green infrastructure, the project minimizes site coverage while maximizing livability, sustainability, and community benefits. The integration of a licensed childcare facility, publicly accessible open space, recreational amenities, and strong pedestrian and cycling connections ensures the development directly advances the City of Surrey’s Official Community Plan, Sustainability Charter, Climate Change Action Strategy, and Regional Growth Strategy objectives.
The project uses a standalone tower typology rather than a tower-and-podium design to maximize efficiency, livability, and site responsiveness. Unlike bulkier tower-and-podium forms, this configuration enhances ground-level public realm activation, maintains human-scale experiences, supports amenity integration, and allows for passive surveillance, reinforcing safety and community engagement.
Through strategic density, transit orientation, and a bold commitment to placemaking, the project responds to both community aspirations and citywide policy priorities. Wall Financial Corporation brings forward this application not only as a rezoning proposal but also as a long-term investment in Surrey’s urban future — one that creates a resilient, inclusive, and memorable neighbourhood destination.
