PHASE Rezoning Application
SIZE 8,649 SF (GFA)

Located within a master-planned community of five residential towers, the childcare facility benefits from direct access to green spaces, pedestrian pathways, and nearby amenities. Positioned at the southwest corner of the site, it minimizes impacts on adjacent residences while maintaining clear, secure access from 106 Avenue and strong connections to Holly Elementary School and Holly Park, supporting seamless integration into the broader community.

Designed in response to Surrey’s growing and diverse population, the facility provides a high-quality, inclusive learning environment. Emphasizing safety which is away from high-traffic areas. Nature-based learning fosters connections to outdoor spaces. Warm materials, soft colours and thoughtful layouts help create non-institutional, welcoming spaces that support emotional security.
Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the environment acts as a “third teacher,” encouraging exploration, independence, and meaningful engagement with the outdoors.
A safe, inclusive, and nature-connected learning environment that supports early childhood development while strengthening ties within the surrounding community.
